John 1 13

ERV John 1:13They became God’s children, but not in the way babies are usually born. It was not because of any human desire or plan. They were born from God himself.

EAS John 1:13They did not become God's children in the usual human way. They were not born because some people wanted to have children. They were not born because of what any man decided. No! They were born from God.
